Outdoor Open Play Schedule

🎾 BPC Open Play at Cornwall Memorial Park*

Our Outdoor Play has finished for the season. Check back in the spring for information about our next season.

Procedures for Open Play during the season.

How It Works:
Players stack paddles in a designated area to indicate order of play and rotate off after each game.

A BPC court host may be available at Cornwall Memorial Park to answer questions. (They typically wear a red vest.)

Note: BPC-sponsored Open Play is canceled if it’s raining or courts are wet.

Come out, get some court time, and connect with your fellow BPC members!

Recreational Pickleball Etiquette

  1. After every game, rotate off the court so that waiting players have an opportunity to play.
  2. Be courteous and respectful.
  3. Refrain from offering uninvited coaching.
  4. Before crossing a court in play, wait for the rally to end and get the attention of players.
  5. Loudly call “Ball on” to alert the players if a ball enters your court, or a neighboring court.
  6. Reviewing the “BPC Skill-Level Self-Assessment Rating Scale”  to help you identify your current level.
*BPC hosts Open Play at Cornwall Memorial Park only during designated hours.

Any play outside of these hours must follow the City of Bellingham rules posted on-site.

Please note: BPC does not host Open Play at other courts in the city—such as those at WCC, Cordata Park, and others. Players using those courts must follow the posted site-specific rules.ur
